Painting assignment: Use two watercolour techniques to portray an animal and a fruit. Must include a background. I wanted a contrast between the fruit and the animal so I picked a red fruit and a green animal. I made the turtle and the strawberry face each other to keep the viewer’s eyes on them. There is aditional contrast between the orange wall and blue aquarium. The plants, while carrying motion in the opposite direction, point toward the turtle.
